The New Forest has some of the most prestigeous hotels in the country. There are some, where you simply dont need to leave the confines of the grounds. However, what a shame it would be to visit the New Forest and not explore its rich and varied flora and fauna. Hotels are ideal for total facilities, and you can often take all your meals there, have a swim and sauna followed by a massage etc. They are also useful for one night stays, as there is so much pressure on the bed and breakfast establishments for this. Many B&Bs wont entertain one night stays, so the hotel is the only option in some areas.
